About Volt Punk

Technical apparel had the function but not the attitude. Streetwear had the attitude but not the function. Volt Punk brings the two together: expressive, unapologetic design with integrated silver-fiber shielding.

A small Colorado brand

Volt Punk is an independent label based in Colorado. We design caps with a separate layer of silver-plated conductive fabric built into the crown, between the cotton twill shell and the sweatband. Hoodies are next.

We publish the real numbers

Our silver mesh fabric was independently measured at 60.7 to 69.0 dB shielding effectiveness from 300 MHz to 20 GHz. Those numbers describe the fabric under controlled lab conditions. A cap is not a sealed enclosure, and we don’t claim it performs like one. Real-world results vary with frequency, fit, coverage, and how far you are from the source.
